Every year we see R U OK social media posts flooding our pages; and it is great that so many are embracing and supporting this initiative.

Asking someone if they are OK and really creating a space to listen is what this day is all about. Having a chat with someone is an easy way to take the load off.

Sometimes we might then find ourselves in a space where we believe this person migh benefit from more than just a chat with a mate.

It is important that we are also ready to encourage appropriate professional help. Whether it be to call a helpline or encourage an appointment with their GP.

Be sure to visit Deni MHAG website , a resource for our community.
